Dr. George completed a podiatric residency at the Jesse Brown VA Medical centre, providing care to veterans in the Chicago area.

    Dr. George performs routine podiatric surgical procedures, as well as cutting-edge, advanced partial and full reconstructions. Gaining experience and training through his completion of the Foot & Ankle Reconstruction Fellowship in Germany, Dr. George has studied under the direction of orthopedic traumatology, foot and ankle specialists, including Dr. Kai Olms and Professor Johannes Hamel. Dr. George has the reputation of being the best foot and ankle surgeon in Joliet, Illinois.

    As an expert in operative and nonoperative care of foot and ankle issues, Dr. George is well versed in all podiatric ailments and is constantly researching the latest treatment techniques. His operative expertise encompasses all the newest procedures, as well as traditional techniques, ensuring you get the best possible care from diagnosis to recovery.

    We have onsite digital x-ray and MRI machines, allowing us to pinpoint your precise diagnosis and arrange the best course of care for optimal recovery.     Using minimally invasive surgical procedures, such as ankle arthroscopy, Dr. George is able to view and perform reconstructive surgeries using a fiber-optic camera through a small incision.  This allows access to the injured area without disrupting the surrounding healthy tissue. This type of surgery is beneficial because it shortens your recovery time and has decreased pain levels, allowing for a return to action in less time and with less complication.

    As the Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Amita St.Joseph’s Medical Center, Dr. George also specializes in complex reconstructive surgeries, including total ankle repair, difficult foot reconstruction, fracture repair, and individualized surgery for those that have suffered trauma or degeneration.
